Climate Controlled Facility!

Paid Weekly, pay range is $14.00 up to $18.00 per hour based on experience level.


Independently performs services to clean and maintain the cleanliness standards of the pharmaceutical equipment and facilities according to rotating cleanliness standards. Perform manufacturing activities to support the manufacturing of finished drug products. Must be able to perform manual labor and use the required cleaning solutions to complete the assigned jobs.


  1. Partner with the Manufacturing Manager on a daily basis to keep up to date on cleaning schedules, PMs, training and other tasks that may be necessary in light of schedule changes and manufacturing situations.
  2. Clean manufacturing rooms/suites according to usage and recurring schedule as specified by SOPs, understanding the different chemicals or cleaning agents specified. This would include, but is not limited to the following:
    1. Clean floors and walls in all rooms contained within the Surmasis area of manufacturing, including, but not limited to, warehouse, dispensing, gowning, mixing, converting, and packaging rooms
    2. Empty trash and properly disposing of all non-manufacturing supplies or waste
    3. Restock cleaning supplies and protective gowning (PPE) in the suite areas and coordinate with materials for additional supplies, as needed.
    4. General cleaning of all Pharmaceutical areas.
  3. Clean manufacturing equipment and accessories. This would include, but is not limited to the following:
  4. General cleaning of all Pharmaceutical mixing process equipment
  5. General cleaning of all Pharmaceutical dispensing process equipment
  6. General cleaning and sanitizing of all Pharmaceutical instruments/accessories
    1. Coordinate and prioritize work according to situations and manufacturing schedule with key manufacturing and management personnel. Sign off and post cleaning activities performed, according to specifications in the SOP, to maintain open communication with manufacturing personnel to know which rooms/suites are available for use. Adjust cleaning schedule as needed.
    2. Mentor and train other personnel on proper cleaning techniques, as needed. Lead personnel, made available to assist in times of need, by example, working side-by-side and verifying the cleaning techniques meet the SOP requirements.
    3. Assist in certain activities during drug product manufacturing, such as patch inspection, placement of patches into in process containers, feeding packaging lines with product to be packaged, boxing, etc., according to SOPs.
    4. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required.

Experience and Skills:


  1. High School Diploma, or equivalent
  2. Able to read, understand, and communicate in English requiring work done, and progress
  3. Good work attendance and dependability
  4. Able to complete physical labor such as mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, wiping, etc.
  5. Able to work independently with little supervision
  6. Able to work with cleaning solutions and supplies required to complete the job responsibilities as listed above
  7. Able to work in a highly controlled and disciplined environment and to follow prescribed directions
  8. Must be able to pass FDA and DEA background requirements
  9. Able to wear a respirator
