Job Description:
SUMMARY
The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting
the HR Department and contributing to HR projects, employee engagement
initiatives, and compliance efforts to keep Human Resources running
smoothly and effectively. The role has additional opportunities for
Human Resources growth and advancement in the future.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Digitization of personnel files and other Human Resources documents for active employees to ensure legal compliance.
- Identify and organize documents for storage and disposal in accordance with retention guidelines.
- Support interdepartmental audits, as needed.
- Assist in the maintenance of employee records such as personnel files, new hire administration, new hire orientation, training documents, employee record changes, performance management, and other documents.
- Research, draft and format employee communication materials for HR programs, policy updates, and organizational announcements.
- Provide Reception support including answering and routing calls, and greeting visitors as needed.
- Manage conference room reservations and coordinate visitor scheduling, communication, and catering.
- Support general office operations including ordering, stocking, and maintaining office supplies.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job. Punctuality and regular attendance are crucial for efficient plant operations, safety, and morale.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required.
Experience and Skills:
QUALIFICATIONS
- Two years of experience in HR Administration or Administrative Assistant role.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite and HRIS systems such as Paylocity/ADP/Bamboo.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of discretion and the ability to maintain confidential information.
- Ability to ensure accuracy in the processing of records, data, and compliance matters.
- Good work attendance and dependability.
